 Largest
towns in Myanmar offer a variety of city buses,
bicycles, rickshaw or trishaw or horse carts.
Buses are very cheap in Yangon and deserve all the
areas.
You
won t find any rickshaw in Yangon, but it s a good
transport to visit places like Pyin Oo Lwin, Hpa an or
taungoo.
 Trishaw
are everywhere in Myanmar, in Yangon or in villages,
they are very useful for short distance. In Mandalay
some trishaw drivers can be very good guides too.
 In Pyinn Oo
Lwin or others places like Meiktila where you don t find
trishaw, horse carts are a good way to visit the cities.
You will
find a lot of horse carts in Bagan too, they are very
usefull to visit old bagan.
You can rent bicycle nearly everywhere in Myanmar. It s
a good transportation in Bagan or Mandalay.
In some
areas it s also possible to rent motorcycle.

Transportation
Almost always faster than trains, Myanmar buses can be a
good option for your trip. For long distance trip, they
usually run night time. Many companies operate between
yangon and Mandalay, Bagan, Inle or Mawlamyine.
Pick up traces some useful roads making many stops on
the way.
